- ImprovedWith far more landmarks, practice rounds stay fresh for much longer before anything repeats.
- ImprovedBecause the daily puzzle is picked from a bigger pool, today's five landmarks may differ from earlier in the day for anyone who loaded the game before this update.
v2.1 · Fun facts and the final recap
October 2026- NewEvery landmark now comes with a fun fact, revealed right after you lock in your guess.
- NewWhen you finish all five rounds, the globe shows a recap with all your pins and the real locations, numbered by round. It slowly spins, and you can drag to take over.
- NewTap any round in the recap list to zoom in on it and read its fun fact again.
v2.0 · Share and streaks
October 2026- NewShare your daily result with one tap. It builds a spoiler-free summary with one coloured square per round, your score and your streak, ready to paste anywhere.
- NewDaily streaks: play every day to build a 🔥 streak. The game also tracks your best streak, daily games played and average score.
- ImprovedYour daily result stays available to share when you come back later the same day.
v1.9 · Straight to practice
October 2026- ImprovedIf you’ve already played today’s daily game, coming back to the site now takes you straight to a practice round instead of showing the same five landmarks again.
- ImprovedIt works even if you switch devices or clear your browser data, because the game also checks your result on the server.
v1.8 · Map pins
October 2026- NewThe marker you drop is now a real map pin. Its sharp tip sits exactly on the spot you tapped, so placing your guess feels more precise.
- ImprovedYour locked-in guess keeps its pin, coloured by how close you were. The answer gets a larger green pin.
- ImprovedPins stay anchored as you spin and zoom, and they never block taps near them.
v1.7 · Sharper zoom
October 2026- ImprovedZooming in no longer turns blurry. Past about 2.5×, the globe loads high-resolution NASA satellite tiles for the part you’re looking at.
- ImprovedIf the extra detail can’t load, the game falls back to the standard Earth image and keeps working.

October 2026- NewYour daily score is posted automatically as soon as you finish round five. There’s nothing to paste or submit.
- NewSee how many people have played today, what percentage of players you beat, and your rank.
- NewOptionally add a name after you finish. Without one, you appear as Anonymous.
- ImprovedThe leaderboard is faster and lighter, so it keeps working as more people play.

October 2026- NewThe landmark list grew from 64 to 125, including the Louvre, the Matterhorn, Lalibela, Himeji Castle, Bora Bora, Lake Louise, Tikal and Perito Moreno Glacier.
- NewPractice rounds never include today’s daily five, and they don’t repeat a landmark until you’ve seen the whole pile.

October 2026- NewThe globe now shows real satellite imagery from NASA’s Blue Marble project, with no country borders, soft lighting and a glowing atmosphere.

October 2026- NewZoom with the scroll wheel, pinching, double-tap or double-click, the + and − buttons, the slider, or the + / − keys. Double-click zooms in on exactly where you click.
- NewEveryone now gets the same five landmarks each day, with a daily leaderboard to compare scores.

October 2026- NewYou now place your own pin on the globe instead of guessing a country. The game tells you how far away you were, in kilometres.
- NewFive rounds, one guess each, with up to 5,000 points per round and a 25,000 maximum.
